Veteran musician MS Viswanathan Passed Away

MS Viswanathan the top most famous music director who scored music for over 1,000 films in multiple languages, passed away on Tuesday. He was undergoing treatment at Fortis Malar hospital from last month as he was suffering from breathing problems. The legendary music director has started his career as a composer for 1952 film Tamil Panam starring Sivaji Ganeshan and later gained huge popularity with his music in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages.

Viswanathan received many awards for his contribution to South Indian music and mastered in handling instruments like the harmonium, the piano and the keyboard. Viswanathan has worked with leading actors and directors during the late 70s and 80s and in Telugu, many evergreen classics had been produced in the combination of MSV and legendary filmmaker K Balachander. Virat Kohli gets unofficial warning by BCCI for speaking to Anushka Sharma

Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli has broken IPL's anti-corruption guidelines by meeting his lady love Anushka Sharma during a rain break in the IPL 8 match against Delhi Daredevils on Sunday at Chinnaswamy stadium. During the match Kohli stepped out of the dressing room to speak with girlfriend Anushka Sharma when players left the field after it started raining.

The Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) in India is not happy with Virat Kohli for breaking the rules. Anushka was sitting in a VIP enclosure which is adjoining to the players' dugout and so after raining all the players rushed to the dressing room but Virat rushed to Anushka to talk with her.

IPL chairman Rajiv Shukla stated that, "We shouldn't blow the thing out of proportion but I have spoken to him and told him he shouldn't speak to anyone when technically the match is still on. At the Chinnaswamy [stadium], there is only a partition between the VIP enclosure and the players area and hence he may have spoken. If the ACSU officials inform us we will definitely warn him but I have already informally spoken to him and told him not to do this."

Popular television actress Roopa, her real name is Harjit Kaur tried to commit suicide by jumping into Hussain Sagar and she was rescued by Lake Police at Hussain Sagar, Hyderabad. As per updates, the actress was in a live-in relationship with Keval Singh a bank employee and the duo were staying with each other for about two year in Uppal in a flat.

Roopa was cheated by him and she even quit acting as he asked her to stop working in serials and he even promised to marry her. Keval has even harassed her on many issues and unable to take the pain, she decided to end her life.

As per Sreedevi the Inspector Lake Police stated that, "Roopa told us that Keval asked her to stop working in serials and promised to marry her. However, Keval backed out later." Roopa has worked in many super hit television serials like Chandramukhi, Shikaram, Auto Bharati, Arundhathi, Antahpuram, etc. A case has been filed against Keval Singh in Basheerbagh police station.

Nepal earthquake: Death Toll Soared to 4,000

Earthquake-hit Nepal death toll has reached around 4,000, at least 7,180 people were seriously injured and the death toll is expected to touch 5,000. The quake-hit area has been facing crisis of food, water, electricity and medicines. Massive rescue operations and relief efforts are taking place.

Leela Mani Paudel, Nepal's top bureaucrat in a press conference stated that, "We urge foreign countries to give us special relief materials and medical teams. We are really desperate for more foreign expertise to pull through this crisis. We are appealing for tents, dry goods, blankets, mattresses, and 80 different medicines that we desperately need now."  

Still hundreds of people are trapped under tonnes of wreckage and a National Disaster helpline no 1078 has been launched to help people and conduct rescue operations. RK Jain, NDMA Member-Secretary at a press conference stated that, "Anybody can use this number by dialing 011-1078 and whatever request we get will be shared with agencies concerned involved in the operation."
