BlackBerry Leap Smartphone has been launched in India at Rs
21,490 and the device will be available from May 12, 2015 in all BlackBerry
Exclusive Stores. Earlier this year the device has been unveiled at Mobile
World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona and it is a mid-range Smartphone.
During the launch BlackBerry India Managing Director, Sunil
Lalvani stated that, "The BlackBerry Leap was designed specifically for
the young power professionals who see their Smartphone device as a powerful and
durable productivity tool that also safeguards sensitive communications, while
on-the-go. With BlackBerry Leap complementing the latest BlackBerry portfolio,
including BlackBerry Passport and BlackBerry Classic, we continue to provide
products and services that meet the needs of our consumer and enterprise
customers."
