Popular television actress Roopa,
her real name is Harjit Kaur tried to commit suicide by jumping into Hussain
Sagar and she was rescued by Lake Police at Hussain Sagar, Hyderabad. As per
updates, the actress was in a live-in relationship with Keval Singh a bank
employee and the duo were staying with each other for about two year in Uppal
in a flat.
Roopa was cheated by him and she
even quit acting as he asked her to stop working in serials and he even
promised to marry her. Keval has even harassed her on many issues and unable to
take the pain, she decided to end her life.
As per Sreedevi the Inspector
Lake Police stated that, "Roopa told us that Keval asked her to stop
working in serials and promised to marry her. However, Keval backed out
later." Roopa has worked in many super hit television serials like
Chandramukhi, Shikaram, Auto Bharati, Arundhathi, Antahpuram, etc. A case has been
filed against Keval Singh in Basheerbagh police station.
