IPL opener: Kolkata won the match against Mumbai Indians by 41 runs

The Kolkata Knight Riders have showed there clinical performance against Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League season with a huge victory by 41 runs in Abu Dhabi .

Knight Riders have set a target of 163 runs in 20 over’s for a loss of five wickets and Mumbai Indians where in a chase of the target and they were restricted at 122 runs for a loss of seven wickets in 20 over’s by Knight .

The experience of Kallis came through with the bat as he stood tall with a cracking knock of 72 from 46 balls, while Manish Pandey shone on his debut for Kolkata Knight Riders with a good knock of 64 from 53 balls.

In spite of Malinga taking four wickets for 23 runs Kolkata managed to set a descent score of 163 for five in 20 over’s.

Black Caps all-rounder Corey Anderson has made a forgettable debut for the Indians, managing just two runs with the bat after going wicketless and bowling three overs for 33.
