The latest version of BBM for Android, iOS and its native
BlackBerry 10 OS have been launched by the Canadian Smartphone makers
Blackberry.
In the latest version there are
many improved set of features by keeping in the mind to expanding its customer
base and the main aim of the company is to cater to a wide range of users and
mainly for the customers with Android and iOS Smartphone users. Meanwhile, within the app they have also
added a new BBM Shop which helps to boost the monetisation options for the app.
The new app will be seen as soon as possible in Windows Phone 8 and Nokia X
platform, they are also in a plan to bring BBM to desktops.
The latest version helps the users
to send and receive up to 16MB of files of images, videos and sound. Where as
in the previous versions you had about 6MB of maximum file limit to send and where
as Blackberry user had a maximum file size of 16MB to be sent and about 10MB
for the Android and iOS users.
The most interesting new features
is that in a multi person chat all the users with all three platforms can share
images with each other while you’re chatting with a group of people. In the
earlier version you need to make a group featuring them and then can share images
with multiple contacts. In the latest version you can send file directly from
your Dropbox account, sharing one’s location and sending voice notes.
Within the app the company also
added a new element and has launched stickers in the brand new BBM Shop. You
can now share your emotions and mood with your friends by images that are either
animated or more detailed. If you have been using Facebook or WeChat Stickers
you would be pretty familiar with the Stickers and they can be bought from the
BBM Shop for Rs 120 for a pack of 20 to 25 stickers.
