Maria Sharapova battle against Petra Kvitova in WTA Miami Masters

Maria Sharapova the former World No. 1 and World No. 6 Petra Kvitova will clash in the 2014 WTA Sony Open Tennis quarter finals on 25th March. The match will begin at 17:05 GMT on outdoor hard court at the Tennis Center at Crandon Park in Key Biscayne.

Maria Sharapova in the Sony Open Tennis so far has been playing great tennis and conquered fourth round opponent Kirsten Flipkens in 2014 Sony Open Tennis in three sets with a 3-6, 6-4, 6-1.  Russian star has lost 2014 WTA BNP Paribas Open third round to Camila Giogi of Italy in three sets earlier this month in Indian Wells. She also lost Miami Masters final to her rival World No. 1 Serena Williams last year, but she is looking very confident to bounce back to lift 2014 Sony Open Tennis Crown.  

Petra Kvitova has outlasted World No. 13 Ana Ivanovic of Serbia in 2014 Miami Masters fourth round in a 3-6, 6-0, 6-0. Czech star Petra Kvitova needs to play high level tennis against last year's finalist Maria Sharapova on Tuesday scheduled match in Miami.

The Duo is going to clash for the seventh time on the WTA Tour, where Sharapova is having impressive record against Kvitova with a 4-2 win loss. Both the WTA players last meet at the 2013 French Open championship semi final in Roland Garros and Sharapova has won the match in consecutive sets with a 6-3, 6-3.

There are many hopes and most of the predictions claim that Sharapova is going ahead to clinch victory and step forward into the 2014 Miami Masters quarter finals.

Roger Federer vs. Richard Gasquet in Miami Masters 2014

Former World No. 1 Roger Federer will be fighting against Frenchman Richard Gasquet on 25th of March in Sony Open Tennis 2014 in fourth round, it will take place on outdoor hard courts at Tennis Center at Crandon Park in Key Biscayne. The match will kick begin at 20:00 GMT.

In ATP World Tour career it would be the 15th time both the players are meeting each other and Roger Federer has been a head leading against Richard Gasquet by 11-2 win loss head to head.  In 2013 both the players met each other in London ATP World Tour Finals round robin match and Swiss star went to clinch victory in two sets with a 6-4, 6-3. There are many hopes and most of the predictions claim that Roger Federer has all the chances of winning the fourth round and steps forward into the 2014 Miami Masters quarter finals.


17 time Grand Slam holder Roger Federer conquered third round opponent Thiemo Debakker of Nederlands in 2014 Sony Open Tennis in two sets 6-3, 6-3 and he wants to continue similar form against Frenchman Richard Gasquet. Federer is eyeing to clinch Miami Masters crown ahead of the Madrid Masters next month.

26-year-old  Richard Gasquet has progresses into 2014 Miami Masters fourth round after beating South Africa Kevin Anderson in a 6-3, 6-3. World No. 9 Richard Gasquet is aiming to play best tennis against hot favorite Roger Federer on Tuesday scheduled match at Crandon Park in Key Biscayne in Miami.

Microsoft has provided a new offer where they provide you money of about $100 to buy a new PC. You have won the money if you’re still using Windows XP but only the thing you have to do to win the money is that you have to upgrade to a new Windows 8 computer.

Serena Williams Hopes to clinch Miami Masters

Serena Williams is eyeing to defend WTA Sony Open Tennis title this week in Miami where she is having home advantage in front of big crowed. 

World No 1 Serena Williams has being playing outstanding tennis from the beginning of this season and she is very confident to give tuff challenge to her opponents. She is so excited to play in front of her fans and wishing to receive their full support. In 2013 Sony Open Tennis final she had conquered Maria Sharapova the four time Grand slam winner in three sets with 4-6, 6-3, 6-0, and she is eager to play the same kind of tennis to against her opponents and clinch the seventh Miami Masters crown.


The 17 times Grand slam winner Serena Williams in her career had won about six titles from 2003 to 2004, 2007, 2008 and 2013 and she is looking ahead to win the seventh title and lift the crown.  The 2014 Sony Open Tennis tournament is going to take place at the Tennis center in Crandon Park which is the second round match going to be held against Serena Williams and Yaroslava Shvedova, which is on Thursday .


Serena has been leading women’s singles at the Miami Masters followed by her rivals World No. 2 LI Na and Radwanska at No 2 and No.3 seeds respectively.

T20 World Cup 2014: Stuart Broad the Capitan of the England Team has been fined for umpire criticism

Stuart Broad  the Capitan of the England cricket team was been fined about 15% of his match fee after accused the umpires of putting players’ safety at risk after lightning struck England's opening game of the World Twenty20 against New Zealand.

England lost the match by nine runs against New Zealand on with the Duckworth Lewis method after a rainstorm had made the end of the play where New Zealand where 52 for one after 5.2 overs and the England where  in pursue of 172 for six. That was enough for New Zealand to be declared the winners, but Broad believed that umpires Aleem Dar and Paul Reiffel should have taken the players off when lightning first began to strike several minutes earlier.



There were still five overs left and match has not been completed and at this stage the match had been stopped then there would be no results where the both teams would have been received one point each.  When the Stuart Broad is about to bowl for the New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum suddenly a lightning flash appeared over the stadium causing Brendon McCullum to step away.

Yet the umpires had decided to allow the play to be continued after the decision McCullum the Capitan of New Zealand hit a six down the ground and let the  New Zealand a head on the scoring tables. The rain came two balls later, and Broad was critical of a “distinctly average” decision that he believed had not only cost England a point but endangered both sides.

The Capitan of England Stuart Broad said that they feel aggrieved to have that as a loss against our name and the Capitan could be fined from the International Cricket Council for his comments. “It was distinctly average decision making, keeping us on after the first lightning strike. It’s not sour grapes, because both sides were uncomfortable being out there.

Sri Lankan Captain Mahela Jayawardene Announced Retirement from T20 after the Ongoing 2014 Twenty20 World Cup

Sri Lankan cricketer Mahela Jayawardene has announced his retirement from Twenty20 International cricket match after the end of the 2014 Twenty20 World Cup in Bangladesh. The news was announced by the International Cricket Council via Twitter, meanwhile another cricketer form the Sri Lanka veteran Kumar Sangakkara also announced his retirement from the Twenty20 international World Cup match after the ongoing 2014 Twenty20 World Cup.



The 36 years old Sri Lanka cricketer Jayawardene is the captain and in 2012 under his captain ship he has lead his team to the final of World Twenty20 tournament and was beaten by West Indies. He had played about 49 T20's tournaments with scoring 1335 runs at 31.78, with a strike rate of 134.17. The 49 games he had scored about eight half centuries and a century against Zimbabwe in 2010 Twenty20 World Cup international matches.


When asked regarding the decision for his retirement from t20 Jayawardene said that “The rationale is pretty much same as Sanga's. When it is clear that I can't see myself playing in the next ICC World T20, there wasn't much point in me occupying a spot and also said that it makes more sense for a youngster to come into the mix and establish himself.
